From the number of enquiries we receive, there’s no doubt that there are many budding journalists just itching to have one of their stories published. Well, here’s your chance.
We are inviting writers to submit a story telling us why their home town or part of the Hunter Valley is a great place to live. You are invited to submit a story (up to 800 words) stating the virtues of your place of residence, supported by 4-6 quality digital images.
How long should my story be?
We need about 800-1000 words for each story. This is about the same as filling one and a half A4 pages with your writing.
The best quality entries will be published in an up-and-coming edition of “Hunter Lifestyle Magazine”, credited with your by-line. You may enjoy your part of the Hunter Valley because of its locality, the beaches, mountains, restaurants or simply the community spirit.
Tell us why your choice is the best place to live in the Hunter. Visit our website www.hunterlifestyle.com.au for points on how to submit your story. We look forward to reading your entries.
Email your finished story and high quality images to marilyn@hunterpublishing.com.au
Please call Associate Editor, Marilyn Collins if you have any further questions on 02 4990 2244.
